Hans Posted September 5, 2015 Share Posted September 5, 2015 Hello,I work now with objects that have a size of 4x4x4 meter.For that I need a grid under the whole object from bloks of 1 cm divided in 10.This so that I can zoom in on a detail and work with 1 mm lines.If I set the grid like this than the grid disappears as I zoom in.How can I fix this?Thanks Hans Fzr 8.5 - pc w8.1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rob Posted September 5, 2015 Share Posted September 5, 2015 Hey Hans, Go to the File Menu: Project Settings: Working Units -- and choose scale = Small. When I want to snap 2 boxes together in top view in wire frame mode the moved box disappear when Zooming In closer to align the corners. It will be visible after it has been moved. Hans Posted September 6, 2015 Author Share Posted September 6, 2015 Hello Rob, Your steps work untill I enlarge the standard grid to 4 by 4 meter, then the problem is there again. FZ support To me it looks like an internal limitation of the software that was set to low. 10 mm blocks divided in 2 or 3 works but 4 and higher will let a large grid disapear when you zoom in ( with me ). DennisA Posted September 6, 2015 Share Posted September 6, 2015 Go in Reference Plane pallet. If mim & max sizes are too large grid will disappear. Try making them smaller.
