Gyro
Hi there, I've just set up a second moniter yet when I toggle between apps the palettes jump back to the main moniter, which need to be dragged back again, saving workspaces makes no difference, is there a setting I'm missing? Rather than letting my 3D Connexion become a doorstop as I can't seem to get the rotation function to work consistently, also none of the button are configurable, if anyone has a preference file that can be shared would that be worth a try? The Gallery Sculpture I'm modelling has multiple hanging objects, when I rotate the view using Set View or Turntable some of the objects rotate correctly whilst others counter rotate. As always thanks in advance for you help. Andrew Turney
jsiggia
Andrew, Do you have the latest drivers installed? (video and 3dconnexion) Joe
Tech
Hi Andrew, We have been searching for a possible cause to the issues you report, and we are not sure why they would occur. If you set up a few palettes on your other monitor, quit, and relaunch formZ, do they come back where you left them? If so, do they then also hold when you switch programs? If not, what os, video card, (and if Windows, video driver date) do you have? And as Joe suggests, does installing the current 3Dconnexion driver help?
