pylon
Hi Mojo, Thanks for your report. We have created a test project that reproduces the issue and have sent it to Next Limit for them to evaluate.
Andre Conlledo
My MXS references are acting on me too. Same issue as described above - any updates coming soon?
pylon
I have received word from Next Limit that the MXS Reference issue will be fixed in the next beta, which is not yet available. I will post back here when it is available. To eliminate problems with release software, we need users to test the betas/early builds. We encourage all Maxwell users to download the beta during the testing periods, even if only to quickly render an existing formZ project and make sure everything looks okay. Thanks! Many thanks to Andrew West, Steve B., and Des for testing and reporting in the previous beta cycle!
Andrew West
I am having a little trouble finding this in version 3.1: Added 'Hide from Camera in Shadow Channel' option. (Maxwell Object Attributes) The only way I can hide an object from the camera seems to be to launch Studio, select that material and then hide it. Is there a way to do it within Form.z so that it does not show up in Fire?
pylon
Select the object, then:

Andre Conlledo
Hello Pylon, could we get an ETA on the MXM fix?
pylon
The issue with MXS Referneces has been fixed in the latest Render Suite beta. (The plugin has not yet been updated, and still exhibits this issue in Fire... your finish renderings will now be correct, though.)
Andre Conlledo
Thanks Pylon! MXS reference now render correctly.
