Dazzler_K
Hi everyone, Excuse me for being stupid but I can't seem to work out how to rotate an object perpendicular to its surface. Currently I can only rotate an object perpendicular to a reference plane. Which becomes useless once an object has been rotated to an angle differing with the reference planes. I'm sure there's a simple answer to this but I've tried searching the web with no avail! Thanks in advance! Darren
Des
Different ways, Try the Transform tool which lets to move /rotate an object about it's own axis, OR use the "define reference plane" from the a face of the object from which you can rotate. Andrew West
I personally use the Define Reference Plane. This is because I build things progressively and I often need to align things to the rotated object. Define the plane, name it and save it.
