AsOne Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 At times I have deleted a file via the Edit option. Then I reimport the file from my Mac with Airdrop. The file will say "Files cannot be version 7" and won't open it. Then when I go back to the screen with all my files showing - the older file is still there...not deleted.
Tech Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 ASONE, If you delete the app and reinstall, does that help?
AsOne Posted June 15, 2017 Author Posted June 15, 2017 Tried that. It does not solve the issue. I have the latest 12.9 iPad Pro (2017) with the latest iOS.
Tech Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Try deleting the file using iTunes (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201301 see "Delete a shared file from your iOS device"). Its possible that iTunes is restoring the file when it syncs.
kim Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Hi Ztech, I have just loaded Mobile viewer on my iPad Pro, and tried to delete the 'sample' files. When I hit the edit button the 'x's stay greyed out. Where is one suppose to delete these files? Thanks Kim
Tech Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Kim, ASONE, Can you please provide some more information about which iPad Pro you are using? There are different versions available, so models numbers and display sizes will be helpful. Also, which version of iOS are you using? Please be specific i.e. saying: iOS 10.3.2

Tech Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Kim, Can you please be specific in regards to the iOS version? We are using iOS11 betas on some of the devices in our office which is technically the latest. Is this what you are using? Please go to Settings > General > About and tell us the Version you are using.
