Shibui Design Posted February 25, 2016 Share Posted February 25, 2016 Been working on a model with perimeter building walls. I have topological level set to pick and If I pick away from the building walls in a blank area, I select the interior line segment and is identified as "Closure". Never seen this before. Is there any sort of explanation? This has tripped me up multiple times, as I've selected in a blank area and picked "closure" and moved it by mistake, thus damaging my geometry. Any help? Thanks! Can you post part of a file where this happens, as well as a screen capture of where you are clicking to cause this? And how is this "damaging your geometry?" Shibui Design Posted February 25, 2016 Author Share Posted February 25, 2016 closure type.fmz.zipHere's a file. Pick on a "blank" area within the wall enclosure. It selects the top inner line segments. If I pick by mistake and move, it distorts the geometry since it moves the line segments, not the entire object. I am acquitted with this feature and find it pretty much irritating as you may not to notice that you dragged internal outline of the object, say your walls. Anton.
