Donald Wardlaw
The manual notes that Z can work with IES files in the creation of accurate custom lights. I don't yet see how to do this. Does Z import the IES file and attach it to a custom light, or do I merely note and transfer the parameters? Thanks, Donald
bbuxton
From light type drop down choose custom. Under parameters tab choose intensity distribution. Click load and choose ies file It is a little easier with the Maxwell plugin but with the custom light type for formZ you can edit the profile of the ies file and save your custom settings. This is really useful when you want a very specific shape and falloff.
Tech
Hi Donald, Yes, just Load the IES file from the Parameters Tab of the Custom Light properties as Brian notes...
