DMclean
When you select an object and click on the Info tab in Properties you get among other things the Transformation Information for the object. If you alter those co-ordinates, the object moves or rotates accordingly about its axis. It would be really nice if the same sort of thing happened when you select a group. Right now all the "Info" that you get is the number of objects in the group. It would be really nice if you got the Co-ordinates of the axis, and the ability to have changes to those numbers affect the group as an entity. jsiggia
Have you tried joining the group into one object, move, then separate? Joe
jsiggia
You can also select the members of the group as individual objects and the info tab will display these values for the entire lot and move them there, or while you have them selected the transform tool will rotate them graphicaly (with numerical input after you begin to rotate. Of course these are all work arounds and require more steps then your asking about. Joe
¢hris £und
Joining them destroys any controls, where grouping them does not. Joe, how do you select an individual object within a group?
jsiggia
Unlock groups in the edit menu, set select tool to object, become a selecting fool Now you can transform them all together. Joe
