-andrew-
Not sure what I did, but instead of my grid (and objects) being square, they're rectangular! Any ideas? Thanks, Andrew
Tech
Hi Andrew, Sounds like your video driver is off. If you reboot the computer, does that fix it?
-andrew-
Hi - I don't think that's what it was - everything else (also in other programs) was proportional. However, I restarted the app, and it seems ok now... whew. That was strange. cheers Andrew
Tech
Hi Andrew, Glad relaunching formZ solved it for you. It really sounds like a video driver issue. If you ever have such issues again, we would highly recommend simply restarting the computer.
-andrew-
Funny you mention it - I had the issue again almost immediately after posting back... Basically, I imported two Illustrator profiles to revolve & after doing so, and rotating the view, everything got oblong again. This was "fixed" by choosing the 3D view. Is there a way for me to log it? thx Andrew
Tech
Dear Andrew, Have you restarted your computer yet? And if so, does Importing the file (or anything else) cause the problem to return? If so, please send the file and / or steps so we can check it here (but we suspect restarting will fix it for you).
-andrew-
Thanks - I'll experiment a little bit to see if I can replicate it consistently. I bet you're right about restarting, though
