R2D2 Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 When I right click "save all components into library" for some reason I cannot choose anything but embedded. How does this work ? Also when I have the same component on different Layers I sometimes get a "update component ?" warning and then I cant follow where they go. Is it advised to not have the same component (different location in space) on different layers ? (e.g. door on floor 1, same door on floor 2, > different layer ?) ( I always have the yellow warning mark next to layer in info/attributes pallette) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tech Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 Hi R2, First make a new folder and add that as a library. Then you can Export to that library folder. Does that do what you want? You should be able to have components on different layers, but if you are getting an inappropriate Component Update message, please send a file where you can reproduce this and the step(s) so we can investigate this and reply further.
