allanjl
Greetings all, Has anyone experienced this? You click on the clipping plane name you created a while back in the clipping plane dialog box. It only hilights, but the text never becomes editable. Regardless if you single or double click. We have a couple of PC's with that problem. Any thoughts? Thanks. Tech
Hi Allan, Click once to select it. Wait just longer than your double click speed for your mouse. Then click again to activate the naming of the plane. Does that do what you want?
Andre Conlledo
Same problem here. I can't rename the planes no matter how many times I click: once, twice, thrice... I tried with the clip activated with the visibility toggled on and off.
Tech
Hi Andre, So if you click to select a Clipping Plane, wait a full second, and click again, the naming field does not activate as shown here? If not, what operating system, mouse, and mouse driver are you using? And if there is a newer mouse driver / software available, does installing that help? Andre Conlledo
Waited a full second. The naming field did not activate. I'm using Windows 10 PRO and it's fully updated. My mouse is the Roccat Nyth and it's using the latest drivers/firmware. I also have the same problem on my home computer also with W10Pro but with a Razer Deathadder (fully updated). Tech
Hi Andre, Works perfectly here with Microsoft, Logitech, and Dell mice. Can you give exact specs on driver dates -- and perhaps post a link to a short video showing what happens when you try?
allanjl
Support, Just like Andre describes this happens in our computers. It seems to occur after a file has been opened and worked on for a few hours. After a reboot, there seems to be no problem.
