Alan Cooper
I have just learned that the UK government has committed to advanced BIM levels. I don't need it at present, but perhaps in the future it might be needed. It would be interesting to know what levels of BIM Autodessys is committed to in the near future. As far as I know, FZ is not at present BIM compliant beyond level 1 as it relies on exporting to other CAD software before a level 2 file format can be supported. https://www.thenbs.com/knowledge/bim-levels-explained Here is an extract from http://www.building.co.uk/on 17th March originally from Shutterstock. The (UK) government has committed to developing and rolling out the next level of BIM standards - BIM level three - in policy documents published as part of the Budget yesterday. The Budget document says: “The government will develop the next digital standard for the construction sector - building information modelling 3 - to save owners of built assets billions of pounds a year in unnecessary costs, and maintain the UK’s global leadership in digital construction.” The government launched a mandate for all centrally-procured projects to be delivered using BIM level two four years ago, kickstarting a digital revolution in construction, but there had been concern it would drop its commitment to the policy after the BIM level two mandate comes into force next month on 4 April. Hugo
Yes, more or less the same here in the Netherlands. Working for Government say the standard is REVIT. (a bit strange...) So, me also looking forward what ADS will do in the near future.

Des
I worked on Revit for a few months last year. I have to say I'm not a fan, very clunky
Hugo
For designers is Revit not the tool they should work with! Not stimulating creativity.
