Justin Montoya Posted March 4, 2016 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I've noticed a bug where Line lights (and possibly other lights) are not being selected with the objects selected when using the Pick Tool and dragging to use an Area Select. Tech Posted March 4, 2016 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Hi Justin, In our tests, Line Lights are selecting properly, but only the first point of the line object is showing as highlighted. If you then Move the selection, the Line Light moves just fine along with the other objects, but it is not highlighting correctly when being Area Picked. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we will get this corrected. Is that what you are seeing, or are your lights indeed not being selected at all? Justin Montoya Posted March 4, 2016 Author Share Posted March 4, 2016 Hi there- I just discovered if you use 'Auto Pick' and drag for the Area Pick, the Line Light can be moved even though it is not showing as selected fully. Can you please make it show the whole light as selected? However, I rarely use 'Auto Pick' for a number of reasons, and prefer to use 'Objects' topological level pick primarily, which has always selected Lights with previous versions of FormZ. Can you please make 'Object' selection work on lights as it did before? I noticed that Distant lights are also not being selected with 'Objects' pick. Thank you!
