AsOne
I don't use a grid that often so forget how to do this most basic task (searched the manual and forum a bit, but couldn't locate): How do I expand the grid? I know how to set the dimensions of the grid, but need more of it on screen. Thanks in advance...
Andrew West
It is a slightly hidden icon. If you right click on any icon in the grid palette you can increase the size of the icons. Once you do that you will see a couple of additional previously hidden icons next to the little pyramid (define reference plane). There is an icon with a grid that shows you can expand or rotate the grid. I couldn't find it for the longest time. Now if I need it I have to go through this process each time Form.z launches. Andrew West
Now if I relaunch the program you get this (see screen shot) As you can see the expand grid icon is now hidden. In the adjacent grid snap palette the snap to face and snap to center of face icons are also hidden and the palette can not be expanded to show them. To get them to show up you need to increase the size of the icons as stated above.

AsOne
FYI: in my workspace the icon is always present. no need to resize icons.
Andrew West
That is proabably because you are on a Mac. My windows machine has a personality all its own.
