marco-ch
Hi, I'am new to Formz and this is my first question in this forum. Can somebody give me some ideas how to model a lens sunshade like the one on the photo? Thanks. Marco

Tech
Hi Marco, Welcome to the forum! PAL's approach is a decent one, but we might start by drawing a profile (with or without thickness) and revolving it around an axis if you need more than just a sloping "conic" primary form. Also, to add a JPG image, use the More Reply Options below, or Edit your post immediately after posting (you have 15 minutes to make any necessary additions or corrections). You can also Zip and post small .FMZ files if you like. Does that help?
marco-ch
HI, It's exactly what i'm trying to model! Very helpful! I wil also try with drawing a profile, the sunshade "wall" is thinner on the top. Thanks Marco
