Smarttec
It's the eternal upgrade sushi train. Apple OS X El Capitan is coming - not before Windows 10 and formZ runs on both. The real question in terms of graphics is that all the really decent physical based renderers are becoming, or have become dependant on mass GPU rendering either onboard with nVidia's CUDA based iRay ( an offshoot is Octane ). There are now GPU based graphic cards with 12GB ram just for video. Even Vray now has realtime capability that uses GPU's in the latest v3. We know that Lightworks, who provide the core for RenderZone, have an iRay development SDK . So formZ will have to support all new Mac and Windows OS as well as moving with the times and providing better, faster modelling and particularly renderers that are going through big changes. Tech
We are evaluating how Metal could potentially integrate into our current rendering assets. We welcome your input and comments during this stage. We'll keep you posted,
