Moving by delta?

Hi everyone,

 

I've drawn a short line at an arbitrary angle, say 37 degrees.

 

I'd like to duplicate that line and move it parallel to its original position by 14 inches.

 

I can figure out the "shift-space" command to get a perpendicular guide; however, I can't figure out how to be able to type in the distance (after selecting 3D Delta in the numeric input fields) without clicking into the field before going back to move the line along its perpendicular reference.

 

(Was thinking I could tab over to it)

 

Any thoughts appreciated.

Click on the 3d to the right of the XYZ and choose Delta, or just press the F4 key to reset the relative zero and switch to Delta input all at once....
