Andrew West Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 I am still new to FMZ.7 or 8 for that matter and there are still a few things that used to be easy in 6.7 that I can not find any more. First and foremost is the ability to import lights or views from old projects. I used to be able to just click on the light palate and I had an option to import lights. Where did this go? I have searched endlessly on the program and in the manual but there is no mention of it. Same issue with materials palate. I used to be able to go to "options/ surface styles/ load surface styles" How can I import all the materials from another model now? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tech Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Hi Andrew, Just use the File Menu: Open command, choose the file whose lights, views, or materials you wish to add, and check the Add to Project checkbox (from the lower left corner).
