cearch
Hello, I've just started testing V-Ray and getting some interesting results. However, a number of things seem not to work including the sun position - change the time of day slider has no effect on the shadows in my renderings. Am I missing something? I've searched the Forum but I can't find an answer to this problem. Thanks in advance for your help, Chris
Andrew West
I just move my sun location according to what time of day I want. Moving the sun low to the west provides a nice low intensity evening glow. There are several things that don't work with V-ray sun and the one I find most disruptive is the intensity slider. You have to use your overrides in the lights parameters options in order to adjust it.
cearch
Thanks Andrew, I've started to do that - and its fine, but its also nice to be able to say this is what the room looks like at say 7am on a certain day which you could easily do with renderzone and FZ, mind you - the daylighting of the room may not been as realistic...
