AC1000
This is quite dangerous test. You can lose your files and folders easily. 1. In Sketchup create box or any object and add standard material into it. 2. Save SU file (2017) to the folder you want. 3. Import file in Form Z (everything looks great, materials are there also). Form Z creates material files (.jpg) automatically to the current folder. 4. Save imported file or close it without saving 5. Import again same SU file from the same location (and now it will load without textures!) --> Same time the file is opened (just after dialog box), the folder disappears and becomes a single file! This file contains texture information. All the information is lost. This is relatively dangerous bug. I had to use Time Machine to recover files. Tech
AC1000, What version of formZ are you using? We had observed this with a previous version of the SU SDK. It looks like the problem has returned.
AC1000
Hi! I have had problems with build #9991 and build #9985. I think Build 9929 (SU 2013 format) it doesn't delete folder. It also generates different material names (SUtexture0 SUtexture1 ...) than 9991.
AC1000
More investigations: When you delete just generated materials from the folder and import the file again everything goes fine. Something goes wrong when SU-file transfer plugin tries to overwrite main skp file or material/texture files.
Tech
AC1000, We confirmed the problem (with existing texture files). We have fixed the skp plugin and uploaded a new WIP archive (same build number, just the plugin changed).
AC1000
GREAT! You really listen your customers! Of course the SDK error was.... scary. Thank you!
