Hugo
Another check about the axial sweep error, unfortunately not fixed. https://www.dropbox.com/s/62bam0530m6o6om/axial%20sweep%20error.mp4?dl=
Tech
Dear Hugo, The As Positioned option uses the plane of the source shape to align it with the plane of the path. In this case you have only 2 point segments, so they have no plane. To get what you want here, just Extrude the segment instead of sweeping (or draw a rectangle snapping to the desired 4 points...). Does that help?
Hugo
Tech, probably that works, but see the attachment and try to sweep the Z segment in the X or the Y direction. The result is not the same. Therefore I believe it's a bug? axial sweep.fmz.zip
Tech
Hugo, As noted, this is done based on the plane of the shapes for which there is none. When that occurs, a "guess" is made which may not always be the desired direction. For cases where you have 2 point segments, use a technique other than Sweeping to get what you want. Hugo
In version 8.5.6 still not yet fixed.
Tech
Hi Hugo, We are still not reproducing this. If you try to sweep with the Centroid Alignment and the attached file, does this work as you would expect? (Or if you want to use the As Positioned alignment, use the 2 sources on the left.) Sweep2.zip If that is working but something else is not, can you post your file so we can check that?
