Bartjuan
Not sure if this is intentional or a bug. Create an object lock it, either on the objects palette or lock the layer. You cannot select or delete it using the delete function ( good). but, you can use the Right-Click context menu and delete it that way. Shouldn't the only way to delete some be if it is not in a locked state? bart
Tech
Hi Bart, If you are right clicking and choosing Delete, it is assumed that this is what you really want to do. Is that not a good assumption?
Bartjuan
Its a tough call for me. So I am happy to say leave it as is. Honestly, I don't think I ever accidentally deleted something that was locked using the context menu. Its just an odd exception: there is a tool to prevent you from changing/deleting on object (lock) and another tool to disregard the first one(Context menu delete) In the object palette, if I lock an object, then [context menu, delete] I can un-delete. in the layers palette, I can delete layers/objects[locked] with no warning ( that locked objects are included) and no way to un-delete. I'm not sure what the best answer is it just seemed odd to me. Bart
