Karin
Example attached as .jpg.I shuffle points around to changing distances all the time with nudge keys and the v8 way of doing it is not very fluid.
Tech
Hi Karin, Hold down the Ctrl and ALT keys when selecting the Quick Keys Palette from the Palette Menu. Then create any key shortcut for this palette as desired. Then when you wish to change the Nudge Distance, hit that key shortcut, adjust the nudge distance (tab to the next field to accept the value), and hit the key shortcut again to close the Palette. Does that help?
Karin
Even if you invoke this on a shortcut, you still have to click once to activate the second tab, then again to activate the input field before entering your value, and then "shortcut it" to close the large palette. It could be easier.
Tech
Hi Karin, Whatever tab was active when you closed the palette will be active when you reopen it -- but yes, it does take a couple clicks to change the value. We will consider this for the future.
