I just installed FormZ on my new work station (PC, Windows 7) and its having trouble seeing the Internet connection, which means I can't register it. My Mac installs are always problem free and quick... But for some reason on the PC it's never ending trouble. The palette docks seem to prevent the tools from working properly and now, the Internet connection? Max, Modo, Rhino all work without a hitch... So, I'm at a loss for what's the matter with FZ. I've downloaded the latest installer and the workstation is literally 48 hours out of the box. Any thoughts or work arounds? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tech Posted February 23, 2016 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Hi David, When you first launch formZ, your firewall should ask if you want to allow it to connect. If you chose No, you should be able to change that to Yes via the Windows Firewall Control Panel. If you are unable to adjust your firewall to allow formZ to connect, hold down the ALT key when you click Register and follow the additional instructions.
