Karin Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 In the Underlay dialog in v6 you could choose between showing your underlay in a plane projection or a 3d/perspective view.How can I show an underlay (as a background image) in a perspective view in v8,5? Tech Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Hi Karin, For an "Underlay Image" that fills the screen, use the Shaded Work or Shaded Full Display Option: Background: Flat Image command. For an image that scales with your view, use the Reference Plane Palette: Underlay settings. NOTE that with this option, you can use the Measure Tool (with the Reference Plane Underlay option) to measure any distance -- and then update it with the desired vale from the Tool Options...
