David Lemelin
Hey guys, I recently ported over to 8.5 and have been having trouble with odd behaviour that only seems fixable by dumping the preference folder and starting over. Typically this issue shows up as buttons that suddenly become unresponsive or pull out tools that refuse to pull. Even when I change the preference to auto pull out from click to pull out, there is no change in behaviour. Deleting the preferences works... but then I have to go around resetting all my prefs.... Why is this happening? Anyone else see this?
Tech
Hi David, We have not heard of this before. Can you zip and send the autodessys folder so we can test with it here? Also, what OS are you using? Please let us know so we can help.
David Lemelin
I'm using mac OS 10.10. 5 I will zip my application folder as soon as my renderings are done... and place this in DropBox. I will forward the link later this afternoon!
Tech
Hi David, Not the Application folder -- the Preferences folder (that you "dumped" or renamed) that is causing the problem please...
