Sammi
Hi guys I have started to work with a centre edge transparency - the real life photo in the bottom right hand corner is what I am trying to recreate - is there a way to blend the edge of my 'tube' more so it looks more of a graduated colour going up the wall? I am going to difference my 'tube' from the back wall too Thanks for any help Sammi
bluemonkey
My initial suggestion would be to use 'neon' rather than centre edge and I would probably extrude an oval rather than a circle to make the 'tubes' - I'm not sure how the centre edge/neon will work once you had differenced them? You could try a linelight but this will obviously take longer to render. Personally I would cheat and do this in photoshop - do each wall as a complete graphic and put the glow over the top - this will render much quicker. Sammi
my latest render using oval and neon - course I am getting a dark area because of the ambient occlusion where the 2 objects touch - is there a way around this?
Tech
Hi Sammi, Yes, in the RenderZone Attributes, uncheck Cause and Receive Ambient Occlusion...
