diesellam
Hi all, There are so many apps out there that can be used as the viewer to visulize the 3d model. I don't think there's an app you can open the FormZ 3d model directly in the iPad. Which file format do you export as in order to be viewed in one of these viewer apps? Also, which particular do you recommend? (free and non-free) Thanks in advance.
Alan Cooper
You may like to see the following thread from the old forum. Consensus seemed to be Turboviewer pro and possibly Rhino or dwg format. http://www.formz.com/forum/old/messages/16/62003.html
Rudy Daverveld
Did you check the Sketchfab option? Upload directly from Form-Z and view on any device.... This is a testfile, wich I uploaded... Kind Regards, Rudy Daverveld Visual
diesellam
Both are pretty cool. So for the sketchfab, the native exporter is built inside FormZ 8. What about the earlier version? Or it only works for FormZ 8. Thanks in advance.
Tech
Hi David, Yes, the SketchFab Exporter is built into (the Extensions Menu) of formZ 8, and is not available for earlier versions.
dmn
this Sketchfab is great. Just wondering if there is a way to bake a shadow map, which Sketchfab can make use of? Texture and geometry exports nicely...
