pfschuyler
I've just been trying out the Profiles extension for the 1st time, and I like it! But in comparison to the demo video, all my profiles are rotated 90 degrees, making them somewhat useless for beams, etc. For example, in the case of an I-beam, the flanges are on the sides, not the top and bottom (see image). Is there a setting which allows them all to be rotated as shown in the demo video? Thanks, Paul Schuyler

pfschuyler
Yep, that was it. Interestingly the icon is still rotated sideways, but changing the reference plane mode did the trick. Thanks.
Tech
Hi PF, Yes, the Profiles works relative to the active Reference Plane as Rob suggests. Thanks Rob for pointing this out over the holiday weekend!
