I tried a test render between 9 and 10 and 10 was faster (45 seconds vs 60). 10 also seems more stable, moving around while modeling. I can test a file if you post one. Not to up-sell, but the formZ V-Ray plugin - which I am new to this year - offers a lot more. Still has it's idiosyncrasies, but it is much faster, stable, and can handle huge projects all inside formZ.
