Where to store Components

Hi,

 

Is there an optimal place to store my component libraries? Or can it be on any data drive my computer is connected to?

 

And is it normal that my file is almost 1/3 the original size when I explode all the components?

My components are stored on my Synology NAS, it works, but because components are very buggy, be careful with them to use anyway.

Last week i lost components spontaneously in the model. Have no idea why this happens.

Here on the forum many users complain about components.
