Steve003
Hi, My model in Rhino3D has been created with what are called default line thickness, they are 1 pixel width. I import the 3dm file into a new project, and it has THICK lines, maybe 5 pixels thick, how can I control the line thickness, I wish for thin lines, thick obscure the detail I am studying. image screen dump attached. note the 2inch spacing lines and the way FormZ treats the lines used in the model. radiator, cab side etc. I wish it would show surfaces as you see there, not make all go greys and put iso lines though curves. Anyway to refine the image and gave it match the original ? Steve003
Tech
Steve, In the Display Options, Uncheck the Anti Alias, and / or uncheck the Silhouette Edges option.
Steve003
Hi, Silhouette edges did the trick. Wish there was a way though of retaining the colours and finesse of the original. Its all just dark grey or medium grey or light grey. original had a variety of colours. The colours that are given to the surfaces by the layers in Rhino are all lost. It even fills in the open windows, and the shadow effect under objects is gone, everything is somewhat simple. Steve003
Tech
Steve, There are ways to get what you want, but you should review the tutorial videos and study up a bit before asking every question you have...
