kmwhitt
I performed a boolean operation to lower the sink divider which resulted in an unwanted face - see attached image. As I will need to perform several rounding operations, what is the best way to remove this? File is attached. Thanks, Kevin PS - Already tried unmesh... Tech
Hi Kevin, You have a slight misalignment between your surfaces as you can see from a Side view: Reshape this little face back and snap to the other corner of the :"bump out" to remove it. Note also that you will have a slight gap between the "side wall" below it and the wall to its right that you will likely want to fill in by reshaping that as well. (UnMesh will only remove coplanar faces, and if you zoom in you can clearly see there is some thickness there...) Does that help?
kmwhitt
Thanks. I did not catch that. I'll try again...
kmwhitt
The reshape worked perfectly. However, I don't see the slight gap between the "side wall" below it that you refer to. Everything seems fine after that one operation.
Tech
Kevin, There is a gap. Did you zoom in close from a side view?
kmwhitt
yes, looked from side view and zoomed in - no gap. Had there been, I doubt I would have been able to complete the controlled rounding.
