autFall
I'm working on a project in FormZ Pro 7 and attempting to animate. The file was large (355 MB) before I started animating now it is excessive (1 GB). Any tips for how to decrease file size, and be able to render out frames in RenderZone? Tech
Hi AutFall, Welcome to the forum! Wow, that is a big file. If you go to the File Menu: Project Settings: Project Files -- you don't have Save Undos information checked, do you? If so, you should uncheck that unless you are working with small simple files. Also, uncheck the Keep Texture option, or at least set it to JPG. If you are not using a low Display Resolution for your Smooth object, Pick them (or select all), go to the Pick Options: Attributes: change Basic Attributes to Display Resolution, and try a lower value (even 0% works well for most objects). If you don't need Smooth objects, after setting their Display Resolution to the lowest desirable setting, Convert them to Facetted. And if you do Convert to Facetted, make sure to Save As to a new file name in case you need to adjust their resolution in the future (so you can go back to the copy of the file with the Smooth objects). Does that help?
autFall
I already was not saving undos, bringing down the Display resolution and converting to Facetted also made a large improvement. Thank you.
