John Hynes
Hi all. When I try to create an object in modeling, e.g. cylinder. sometimes it appears invisible! and can only be seen when I select all or do a render. This only happens in certain parts of the model, normally in front of main model. So it doesn't show up as a shaded object, but it is in the object list. If I turn off all the layers and model it in the same place, it works, but as soon as all the layers are back on it doesn't! Seems like a glitch in the shaded render? Tech
Hi John, We are not sure why this would happen. If you save the file, close, and reopen it, does the problem still show? If so, can you please send the file and a screen capture of what you are seeing so we can take a look? Also, what version of formZ, what operating system, and what video card are you using? John Hynes
grab2.tiffgrab1.tiffHi, it solved it for a while then it starts to happen again. I'm on version 8.0.2 OS 10.10.3 Grab 1. shows in shaded mode. items only show up when you select all. As I said this only happens in this part of the model. Grab 2 is when you render and objects show up again??
Tech
Do you have a Clipping Plane active? And can you post a FMZ.zip file that shows this?
John Hynes
dol! Yes, clipping plane was active. Such a simple thing. cheers
Tech
Yes, a Clipping Plane certainly would cause objects on one side not to show.
