Sammi Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 Hi Guys I seem to have lost the ability of the offset segment?! I can offset segments but then I cant reshape just that new segment?! I have tried checking and unchecking the insert and extend to boundary boxes in the settings with no luck Now, the last time I lost the ability of the snapping tool, I had accidently turned off the snap on all objects - yes, I know, sometimes I am a tool myself so I am wondering if I have done else silly?! Tech Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 Hi Sammi, If you get a New Project, draw a cube, and try to offset the segment there (with Insert turned on), does that then reshape as you would like? If that is working but it is not working on a specific object, then there may be a problem with the geometry of that object. If you check it with the Object Doctor tool, does that find (and maybe allow you to fix) the problem? If you are having any further trouble, please save a simple file that is not working for you, zip it, and use the More Reply Options below to attach it to your reply.
