Trick Posted July 26, 2022 Share Posted July 26, 2022 (edited) In FormZ6 I can make an L-winder stairs where I can set the winding start at the rotation point by inserting an extra vertex on the long side of the base spline. (See attached image) Trying this in FormZ9 results in an error. Could you please change this back? (Moving the extra vertex slightly is not an option, because there are more complex stairs where this will result in headaches!) AHTOH Posted December 3, 2022 Share Posted December 3, 2022 Hello Trick. You right. There is no way to create this kind of stairs with extra vertex in 8.5.7. While 6 does the job. Seems like there is the only headache free way to model those stairs in 6 and add them to your 8.5 project. Another sad fact of degrading some tools in newer versions.
