Old user cannot import a DWG..please help.

Hi,

It's been a while since I've done commercial work and a client needs a modification to a past image I made. He's sending me DWG 2013 and 2010, but I cannot access/open them..I'm getting no error messages. Nothing happens when I hit import and choose the file. I have FZ 8.5.7 on a Mac.

 

Any ideas? Thanks! -Peter

Actually, I downloaded another dwg from an online resource and it opens fine.. I guess some options from the client exporting dwg from his software (?Archicad?- I need to find out..) may be the culprit.

I think it has to do with the special french characters in the file name, just rename it with normal characters and it should import fine. Its an old FormZ "feature".
