rmulley 46 Posted March 24, 2021 Every time I close the Edit Cone of Vision window the whole thing crashes on me.... every single time. It's killing me, I use that all the time to set up multiple views
Andrew West 345 Posted March 24, 2021 Easy fix. Hit Command E to enter the cone of vision edit. Hit Command E to exit. As you have found if you try to close the window by hitting the x it will crash. The performance of the cone of vision edit is still wonky but they are working on it.
rmulley 46 Posted March 25, 2021 Thanks Andrew..... I was wondering if it was a known issue. Appreciate it!
spaceagency 8 Posted January 20 (edited) 9 months later and this is still an issue. Command + E is also causing FormZ to crash for me. Edited January 20 by spaceagency
Des 383 Posted January 20 I use Edit cone of vision every day on really large files without any crashes. I use FormZ on three machines (2013 iMac, 2020 iMac, and 2017 MacbookPro), no crashes on any of them. Just wondering if you dump your prefs and try again. Also, try contacting support through email, you are more likely to get back to you. They usually respond fairly quickly.
FZnoob 131 Posted January 20 On my Logitech mouse I have the scroll wheel set up to activate the multi view window. It works fine.
spaceagency 8 Posted January 24 Got a response from FZ support and after trashing prefs, re-installing FZ 9, etc. But we found the culprit to be an older version of Vray (3.6.6.1). Updated Vray to v3.6.8 and the cone of vision works as expected. Many thanks to FZ support and dev team for chasing this down! 👊 1 Des reacted to this
