Tech 894 Posted March 20, 2020 For many years we have had requests for a viewer app for form•Z files on a laptop or desktop computer. form•Z Viewer is a new app based on the v9 interface. More mature than a beta, but its never been out in the wild. Please let us know what you think! Bo Atkinson 78 Posted March 20, 2020 May we share this app widely?
jldaureil 64 Posted March 21, 2020 I suppose that in version 9 there is always the "save a copy as" function which allows to save a formZ file with the textures which are used by the file.I would like to make a suggestion but that is perhaps obsolete ...Would it be possible to allow the creation of a file which allows to encapsulate the whole scene and all the resources used in a compact format (therefore already optimized and compressed).Indeed it can be problematic for my clients to recover the scene in spare parts ... 1 Jaakko reacted to this

Des 345 Posted March 23, 2020 This looks good. It'll be handy for clients to view files etc. On 3/20/2020 at 9:59 PM, Bo Atkinson said: May we share this app widely? I would say it's fine to share the link for download so the most up to date is always available. Des

ZTEK 32 Posted May 18, 2020 Great addition, thanks ADS! Doing some tests, I noticed that the smooth objects are converted to faceted... I hope this can be corrected in the next version. MacOS 10.13.6 1 palarsen reacted to this
