David Lemelin 65 Posted December 2 Does anyone know if there is a way to apply a transformation to multiple selections while retaining their individual center of origin?
Chris lund 213 Posted December 3 You can move the axis independent of the object, but I don't know if you can move the object independent of the axis. Best of my knowledge, that will require a script when scripting is available with 9.x. Should be pretty easy with a script.
setz 567 Posted December 3 (edited) This is possible by using shortcuts set in the "Quick Keys" Palette "Nudge" tab. Set a shortcut and select "Apply to Entities Individually" and click away: Edited December 3 by setz 2 AHTOH and Bo Atkinson reacted to this

setz 567 Posted December 5 Manually setting an object's origin with the Edit Axes Tool makes this technique even more powerful.
