Pobo
I'm exporting to FBX and notice that the lights are also exported, even if I switch them off. I'd rather not delete the lights from the FormZ file. Is there a way to keep the lights in the FormZ file but prevent them from being exported? Any help greatly appreciated. // Tom
Des
There doesn't seem to be an option to export without lights. Maybe just 'Save As' your FormZ file, delete the lights and export from the copy to keep your original intact? Des
Pobo
Thank you, Des. Yes, that's an option. But it would be nice to be able to export an FBX file without lights directly into the Unity assets folder and being able to make changes to the FormZ master file without extra effort. Justin Montoya
Just select all your lights in FormZ and delete them... Export as FBX... Then Undo the Delete Lights action... No problem?
snow
Is there an option to not import the lights? This option is available in C4D and works well when importing FBX from formZ.
gordonjay
There are check boxes for Visible Layers only and or Picked Objects Only. Just select what you want and export Picked Objects Only.
