-andrew-
Hi, Just tried creating an underlay and I can't replace the FZ logo. Same thing if I try to create a new Material. Interface looks a bit messed up. Any ideas?
Andrew West
Andrew Take a look at your underlay file and make sure it is either a standard JPEG or a Tiff. And then just for fun do a search to make sure your Video Card drivers are up to date. -andrew-
-andrew-
Hey Andrew - It is / they are... using an Nvidia 1080TI. (Trying a .jpg) I'll try a different file to see what happens. [edit] Simply opened/resaved JPEG and it's working now! Hm.... thanks Edited January 17, 2019 by -andrew-
Andrew West
Corrupted image files are a constant problem in both Form.z and Vray. Always check the extension and when in doubt do a save as on the image file. This is a problem that has been growing slowly for a while now. Glad to hear you got it worked out. -andrew-

Hm.... thanks the jpg needs to be saved as "standard" a "progressive" jpg will not open. you should also use RGB color space for best results -andrew-

A "progressive" JPG is still a perfectly legal JPG image and should load as such. jsiggia
Jwiede, I'm not an expert on this file type, but would a progressive need to load progressively on an object as it would on a web page? If so, I can see how this might cause problems in a 3D scene. Thanks, Joe

jsiggia
Okay, thanks for taking the time to test, it was just a thought. Joe
Shibui Design
Image file should also be RGB color mode. CMYK files will not load.
