Scale issues importing to Blender

Recommended Posts

Any Blender users here?

I'm trying to import and although everything seems 1:1 (both are Imperial, Feet), my .obj file is coming in too big, at 3.8:1.

Suggestions?

thx

Also, Alan Brito has an ebook on using imperial to work in Blender. I recall that he covers importing.

Looks like it's a bug in Blender.

In 2.79 the .obj imports correctly.

In 2.8 (newest release) scale of import units (1.00) does not work, and needs to be set to some fractional amount.

Changed to actual units (metric or imperial) rather than blender units...

Does this solve your issue

No, still not working... I've tried a lot of variations.

FWIW I can import into Blender 2.79 without any issues.
