-andrew- 55 Posted January 13 Any Blender users here? I'm trying to import and although everything seems 1:1 (both are Imperial, Feet), my .obj file is coming in too big, at 3.8:1. Suggestions? thx
andrew 50 Posted January 13 "Blender units" by default are 1 meter. Try exporting as meters.
andrew 50 Posted January 13 Also, Alan Brito has an ebook on using imperial to work in Blender. I recall that he covers importing.
-andrew- 55 Posted January 13 Hi Andrew- Thanks - as noted, units in Blender have been set to Imperial, feet...
-andrew- 55 Posted January 13 Looks like it's a bug in Blender. In 2.79 the .obj imports correctly. In 2.8 (newest release) scale of import units (1.00) does not work, and needs to be set to some fractional amount.
Martin Malinski 16 Posted January 15 Changed to actual units (metric or imperial) rather than blender units... Does this solve your issue 1 andrew reacted to this

Does this solve your issue No, still not working... I've tried a lot of variations. FWIW I can import into Blender 2.79 without any issues.
