sjj
Why does the tool options info panel not show that bounding size of an object, it doesn't make any sense that the bounding size of XYZ are not their?
sjj
I haven't been using Form Z for a few months and now i'm back using it, i'm once again finding it's lack of very basic elements as frustrating as i did last time. I understand that the development team is small but then so is Nevercenter Silo's. Is there any info on version 9? Why keep customers so in the dark? Don't get me wrong in general it's a great package, it's just a bit archaic and as i've stated frustrating.
Tech
formZ does not currently show the bounding XYZ size of an object in the object info panel. We can add this in the future as there are instances where this could be useful. In v8.6, you can see the bounding XYZ of an object by clicking on the object with the Transform tool and selecting one of the Bounding Box scaling options. This will show the bounding box dimensions of the object. You can even scale the object to fit a new bounding box by entering new values for the XYZ dimensions. We are working hard on v9. Not trying to keep anyone in the dark, but we want it to be bit more refined before we start sharing the details.
