Hello Manolis,

Nice to read you again. Due to last changes in update politic from NextLimit, we are considering to try Thea for Fz.

We would like to know if there is a risk to install Thea aside to Maxwell on the same FZ pro seat.

Just for test, can we install, on the same machine, FZFree and Thea plugin with no consequencies to our allready FZPro and Maxwell combination?

Thanks

Hello again, there should not be any issues or conflicts testing Thea in the same machine. We did have some reports of (mostly minor) conflicts when multiple rendering plugins are loaded in the same session but with the help of AutoDesSys we are moving forward.

Hello again Manolis,

We have download "TheaForFormZBundle_v1.5.07.335.1447". Thea studio have been installed but no FZplugin.

During installation, we had a window to chek for "plugin" but installation continues with the complete Studio...

What's wrong?post-7235-0-67629400-1477054082_thumb.jpg

The bundle installer starts with Thea Studio installation. After that is completed it proceeds with the plugin. Is the following window not displayed?

(open in new tab for full size)

Hello,

Maybe the problem (Thea doesn't appear in the extension manager) we have it is because we have installed the 64b plugin in the Formz free plugin drawer...Is Formz free 32b or 64b?

Hi,

That's the reason most probably, please select the FormZ 8.5 (32-bit) plugin option during installation and in the next step browse to the Plugins folder in the formZ Free installation directory (eg: C:\Program Files (x86)\formZ 8\formZ 8.5 Free\Plugins\) and you should be fine.  :)

Hello,

OK, everything works fine. Many thanks Manolis.

We are very satisfied by our test on several projects and expect to get a license soon.

By the way, could you tell us what is in the oven regarding the next update, just as an apetizer?
