Store rendering settings in meta data.

Not sure if this sort of data (ao, shadows, textures, reflections...) can be attached this way.

 

But if I had some way to look at a rendered image and see what settings I used would be very useful. 

 

Just took a look in Adobe Bridge to see what is readable, perhaps in the notes area.

The fmz file could have changed any number of times since the rendering was made, or if the file was not available.

 

Looking at the data for insight into what you liked so you can apply it to another project.

This is one for developers.

Lot of info into final rendering (all contained in the project file at time of rendering)

If on Mac... guess you can restore fmz file from a time machine backup as to time of original rendering.
