Spacer
Hi, Included are a screen shot and the file with a mapping problem. You'll notice that the mapping 'pinches' towards the middle of the object. I am using "edit on face" - "cylindrical". It does this with both a smooth and facetted version of the object. please help! thanks- Peter Rattan map question.fmz.zip
Des
Hi Peter, if you're using cylindrical mapping, then make sure the centre of the map is at the centre of the curve. I use "edit in 3d" in the edit texture tool, I find it easier. Shift move the centre to align it making sure your guide snaps are on. Tech
Hi Peter, Yes, as Des notes, you need to center the cylindrical mapping on the center of your curve or you will see "stretching" of the material.
