pylon
Please consider this revision to "Site North" handling:1. Move the "Site" parameters out of the "Distant" light type and into Project Settings. Sun studies are only one aspect of construction that is affected by site north; this would provide a single site north definition for each formZ project. Distant Lights would inherit site parameters from Project Settings.2. When importing a project into a formZ Layout frame, options for displaying a site north indicator would be presented:a) File with graphics to use as a north indicator (it's simply another layout project). There would always be a default file here. size of indicator (scale)c) position in frameLayout would handle the rotation.Example:

Gary
+1. Would also be nice to override first north arrow orientation or add second north arrow and be able to align it parallel to edge of page which is often done to indicate true north and "working" north. AsOne
love moving the north characteristic out of the distant light setting idea. maybe into the sun position palette?
jsiggia
This is in the Sun position palette. But I like Ben's Idea better. Joe
